The father’s will

SONY DSC

It is for the father to remove me from his will
To make me unwelcome in the mansion on the hill
To summon my soul when my body is still
It is for him alone to remove me from his will.

I am just surviving living life my way,
May be right, may be wrong, but who is to say?
I have been called every name under the sun
But when I pass on it may be me that has won,

It is for the father to remove me from his will
To make me unwelcome in the mansion on the hill
To summon my soul when my body is still
It is for him alone to remove me from his will.

Heaven will never exist on earth
Peoples investments have too much worth
But I will always dream of the day
struggling along come what may.

It is for the father to remove me from his will
To make me unwelcome in the mansion on the hill
To summon my soul when my body is still
It is for him alone to remove me from his will.

Every family has it’s black sheep
One they second guess the decision to keep
No matter what anyone says
I will never change my ways

People are judged by others for an infinite number of reasons from appearance, to lifestyle, to beliefs, even a single action or event can tarnish people in the eyes of their peers and strangers alike. The one thing I fundamentally believe however is that no-one on earth is above any other, I am no better or worse than anyone else no matter what I have or haven’t done, our rights as people should be the same. The only person or being at the end of the day that can judge us, is that being we all will meet when our days are numbered. So live free, be happy and spend time with those who make you feel both those things, lastly try to do more good in this world than bad. I hope the lord looks favourably on all of you.
